BREWMASTER broke slowly, was patiently handled down the backstretch, worked between horses the far turn, angled outside in upper stretch, took the lead inside the sixteenth pole and drove clear. GREY BIGGSY , taken outside horses soon after the start, pulled to a four deep lead leaving the backstretch, angled in and saved ground on the turn and weakened late. OUR HAM SANDWICH chased the pace, raced inside horses on the far turn then rallied between rivals. BAD BOY BLAZE broke slowly, advanced four wide entering the far turn, was well placed outside the winner leaving the bend and failed to sustain the bid. PLAY IT COOL dropped back leaving the backstretch, swung to the four path entering the stretch and passed tired rivals. HIGH YIELD HUNK was no factor. PAUL'S GUITAR remained along the rail, dueled to the far turn and tried. LIBERTY BAY hugged the inner rail the first turn and dropped back on the far turn. QUAIN dueled outside PAUL'S GUITAR, faltered and returned bleeding.

PEDIATRICIAN rated kindly on the pace three deep, emerged in a duel outside YES CHEF exiting the far turn, spurted clear under coaxing past the five sixteenths, kept on under right handed asking near mid stretch then poured it on while steadily hand ridden the final seventy yards. YES CHEF sparred between runners, stayed on and contested the issue to the inside of the winner leaving the three eighths, failed to match strides heading towards the lane but continued with effort to be well clear of the rest. RUNNINGONHIGHLEVEL vied inside the top pair through the opening five sixteenths, was outpaced near the three furlong marker, shifted out to pursue three wide but lacked a stretch response. THE PIRANHA , in the clear chasing the leading trio to the half, failed to keep up under a ride mid turn, came five wide for the drive and faded. RARE ECLIPSE tracked the dueling leaders two wide, eased out in upper stretch, made a grinding run under left handed asking, moved to a slim lead between runners in the final strides and prevailed. SALTWATER CREW , reluctant to load, broke forwardly and got in a duel outside DANNER after the opening furlong, sparred under confident handling around the turn and into the lane, responded when called upon near the three sixteenths, clung to a slim advantage under a strong hand ride past the sixteenth marker, was headed very late and kept on gamely between foes. STAR ATLAS , outside a rival and off the contested pace, crept closer three wide into the stretch, shifted further out for the final furlong and was gaining outside foes. DANNER , off a beat slow after making contact with the gate, corrected and accelerated to contention, emerged in a pace battle along the inside heading to the turn, fought nose to nose to the inside of SALTWATER CREW past the sixteenth pole then gave way stubbornly through the final yards. RENOVATOR flashed speed then was rated back off the leaders, saved ground with a run near mid stretch and flattened out. KING OF THE ISLES (IRE) showed speed towards the inside, eased back near the half, swung out five wide nearing mid stretch and faded. GONDORFF was outrun. IRISH DIVO broke slowly, was angled out leaving the far turn and faded.

GIFT OF GAB , bumped at the break, was patiently handled inside and off of a contested pace around the turn, crept up along the rail in upper stretch, was deftly guided out five wide and in the clear near mid stretch, closed sharply outside runners while under left handed asking, wrested command in deep stretch and was edging away at the wire. SOMNIUM was angled out nearing the turn, circled four wide with progress into the stretch, moved up to engage the inner duelers with a furlong to go, battled on near even terms leaving the sixteenth pole and kept on gamely to be second best. COME TO MAMA edged up between runners near the half, bid outside the leader mid turn, sparred in the three path from the head of the lane, stayed on between runners past the sixteenth marker then gave way grudgingly. LES REYS (FR) broke forwardly, rated off the leaders and shifted in, took closer order towards the inside in upper stretch, steadied when lacking room in mid stretch, found some clearance along the rail in deep stretch and churned on. LE AMAZONIA sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, met an outer threat mid turn, dueled in the two path and inside COME TO MAMA while holding a short lead in mdi stretch then weakened very late. SECURE'S HOPE , off the pace and off the inside, angled five wide in upper stretch and had a belated gain. GERRARDS CROSS broke inward bumping the winner, corrected and pulled forward, rated back off the leaders then saved ground, eased out then in while in some traffic in upper stretch. MINTY , forwardly placed three wide into the turn, made a mild move between runners into the stretch, failed to sustain in mid stretch and faded.
