GOLDEN BARCENTS tracked the leaders through the turn then took command near the sixteenth pole and drew clear. DOSE OF REALITY was off slow and trailed the field to midway through the turn, tipped out to four wide in upper stretch to make a late rally and was up for the place. COUNTRY ANGEL raced in the middle of the pack from two wide then moved out to three wide midway through the turn to make a late run but was outkicked late. GIRL FROM DE BAYOU raced in the middle of the pack from the inside then made a rail bid going into the stretch but had to shift out to two wide near the sixteenth pole and was outfinished. SECRET MAGIC rushed away to show good speed, set most of the pace but was collared near the sixteenth pole and weakened. THAT'S THE DEAL chased the leaders from three wide but lacked the late response and tired. MISSNEVERSATISFIED was always near the back and was not a factor. RED REVENGER prompted the pace from two wide down the backstretch then steadily faded. BOBBY'S GIRL was always back and not a threat.

ALL TOGETHER stalked the pace from two wide to the three furlong marker then moved up to take command going into the turn, drew clear late and held. FREDDIE BY A NOSE was unhurried through the first turn then steadily advanced from three wide through the final turn and made a late run to miss the win. INFINITESIMAL went to a clear lead to the final turn before being caught but kept on to press the pace in to the stretch and gave way grudgingly. FORT BONZ raced in the middle of the pack while saving ground down the backstretch then made a two wide bid on the final turn and tipped out to three wide in upper stretch to make a mild gain on the leaders and improve position. IZZY'S BABY BOY raced in the middle of the pack around the first turn then made a three wide middle move but failed to sustain the bid. MUFFIN NUTS raced in the middle of the pack then fell back and passed tired ones. TAKEOVER FIFTYFOUR raced in the middle of the pack from two wide down the backstretch, saved ground around the final turn but was not a threat. CITY PARK tracked the leaders down the backstretch before pulling up and was transported on the equine ambulance.
