CLAM BEACH was sent up to the inside of rivals to take command into the first turn, cleared soon after and set the pace towards the inside, was coaxed along into the far turn, spurted away a bit while driven two wide in upper stretch, kept on under solid handling past the furlong grounds then held firm while being shown the crop through the final yards. SCARLETT LETTER dropped in early and rated inside a trio of foes, took closer order near the five sixteenths, was guided out for a clear run near the three sixteenths and gave willing pursuit to the wire. CHICA TIGRE , off slowly when breaking outward, corrected and moved up four wide into the first turn, stalked four deep heading to the half, was under pressure chasing three deep nearing the lane but failed to seriously kick on through the final furlong. MISS MADAME stalked the winner off the inside, was pushed along two wide between rivals from the half to the head of the lane, lacked a punch soon after and faded while on the left lead. BOSS GIRL tracked off the rail, raced three wide between horses leaving the five eighths, failed to kick on leaving the far turn and retreated.

GOOD FOCUS vied three wide between foes early on, emerged in a duel in the two path and to the inside of a rival leaving the far turn, took to nice rating around the turn, spurted away after being nudged along past the three sixteenths, was given a couple of right handed asks through the final sixteenth and held firm. DOMINATE bobbled a stride out then was squeezed back, regrouped and raced well back into the turn, ramped things up while saving ground past the three eighths, cut the corner with progress into the lane, chased on willingly from there and was able to hold down the place. THE SCENT drafted back off the pace, was under pressure four to five wide outside a rival mid turn, shifted well out in the track for the final three sixteenths and finished with good energy. MANDELA EFFECT flashed speed between horses then was rated back off the leaders after about a furlong, raced between runners mid turn, entered the lane four wide, chased on the left lead past mid stretch and came up empty. CHICKEN WING , with the pace outside runners, dueled three wide outside the winner from the far turn to the quarter pole, failed to match strides soon into the lane, wandered outward and weakened. SLEW O' MISCHIEF broke outward bumping a rival, tracked inside foes early, angled out around the turn with aim on the duel, drifted out entering the stretch and gave way. UNDER CONTRACT , bumped at the start, pressed the early pace between runners, was rated back into the turn, failed to respond mid turn and weakened.

RIGHT HAND RYDER , away well, moved up and drew alongside MR. FABRICATOR soon into the backstretch, went head to head with that one from about the five eighths, switched over to his correct lead while under a stout drive leaving mid stretch, asserted himself past the sixteenth pole and edged clear. MR FABRICATOR sped to the front along the inside then met an outer threat from RIGHT HAND RYDER past the three quarter pole, sparred under coaxing and held a slim advantage into the stretch, could not quite match strides leaving the sixteenth marker and gave way grudgingly. YOU'RE THE CAUSE , four wide off the dueling leaders, took closer order outside runners into the far turn, was under a hearty ride five wide into the stretch and churned on to best the rest. SARGE'S SERMON , between runners pursuing the embattled leaders, came four wide for the drive and kept on with effort. GODDARD broke a step slow then settled well off the pace while removed from the inside, circled five to six wide into the stretch but lacked a serious finish. STREET VENDOR , unhurried early while saving ground well off the contested pace, was put to a ride leaving the far turn, advanced inside runners into the stretch then flattened out in the final furlong. BROWN TOWN saved ground stalking the leaders, was shoved along leaving the far turn, shifted out three wide while unable to keep pace into the stretch and weakened. MAGOO , four wide to contention, found a good spot three wide spying the dueling leaders, failed to kick on leaving the far turn and weakened between foes.

TAKE A CHANCE INDY took a short lead into the first turn, was hounded by a host of outer foes through the backstretch and final turn, drifted out a path entering the stretch, fought on past mid stretch then faded. MAESTRO ITALIANO chased to the inside of a pair of foes, angled out in upper stretch, edged up some past mid stretch then was out finished. BIG WHEELZ , very fractious behind the gate and reluctant to load, chased in the clear, raced three wide into the lane, moved up a bit in mid stretch then flattened out. IN A PICKLE , bumped at the break, sped up to join the leader from his inside, battled to upper stretch then weakened through the final furlong. BOLD PROSPECT drafted back off the pace, saved ground past the three sixteenths, gained some past the sixteenth marker then steadied when lacking room through the final yards. THE BRONX BULL , unruly behind the gate, was loaded without his rider, broke inward and then steadied, dropped far off the pace, saved ground into the lane, angled out in the final furlong and had a belated response.
