LUCKY FOR LIFE settled comfortably behind the runaway leader, tracked to the far turn, then launched a bid after passing the three-furlong pole, steadied slightly near the five-sixteenths marker, then slipped through on the inside into the stretch, had two rivals to the outside, kept on well under steady handling, and was just up at the wire. DOCS LEGEND was allowed to settle from the start, secured an inside position along the rail and was under some restraint racing in mid-pack, ranged up approaching the five-sixteenths marker then was the outside horse in a three-way battle down the stretch, was racing head-to-head with LUCKY FOR LIFE in the final yards, then jumped tracks about 40 feet from the wire and lost the rider after crossing the finish line. DYNAMIC VICTORY was hustled from the outside post intent on getting to the lead, went clear of the field coming out of the first turn, led the way to mid-stretch, then weakened after briefly battling between rivals. JOLLY MON raced in the middle of the pack, then lacked a finish. NATIONAL PUNCHLINE was the back marker from the start and never fired. O G MR. BRIGHTSIDE was off awkwardly, then settled near the rear with only one rival behind, angled out five-wide at the top of the stretch but did not rally. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE ACTIONS OF #1 DOCS LEGEND NEAR THE FINISH LINE., AFTER A REVIEW, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE HORSE JUMPED A SHADOW AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.

UNPREDICTABLE BAY was the trailer to the turn, but never far back, launched a bid leaving the three-furlong pole, swung four-wide into the stretch, and finished up well to be along in time to claim the top prize. BOUDIN tracked just off the pace three-wide with the forward trio, responded when asked to go on at the five-sixteenths marker, finished well but was outfinished by the winner. DON'T CROSS JACK was hustled from the start and made the early running with the rest in close pursuit. maintained the margin through the turn and into the stretch, dug in gamely when challenged, but was outfinished in the final furlong. DREAM KNIGHT tracked three-wide not far off the pace, and finished evenly. MSHINDI was never far back, was behind horses for most of the trip, finished with good interest and gave a good effort, but came up short. ROYAL CURLIN tracked close up on the inside, kept on well and was still with a chance in deep stretch but could not generate a winning late kick.

SPIRIT OF AKRON settled in a forward position after a good start, tracked the leaders to late on the turn, then bid for the lead four-wide at the top of the stretch, dueled gamely with AINT NO BANDLEADER to the wire and just missed in a good effort. AUTHENTIC COWTOWN tracked in the middle of the main pack towards the inside, was boxed in on the turn, then ran on well when clear in the stretch, was slowly gaining, but ran out of time. GOLDSTRIKER lacked any early speed, trailed well behind early, started to run on through the turn, angled out eight-wide into the stretch, and improved. CONDEMNATION was last to break and then moved up to bid for the lead at the half under an aggressive ride, dueled inside through the turn, then weakened in the stretch. THE PINK Z broke best, raced close up four-wide to the turn, dropped back late on the turn, and had little to offer in the stretch. INTO GOLD was a little slow into stride and under an early drive, struggled to keep pace through the turn, then swung seven-wide into the stretch and tired. GHOST OF LONDYN dropped back after an even start, launched a four-wide bid approaching the three-furlong pole but could not sustain inti the stretch and faltered. ILIKETHAT was sent hard to grab the early lead, then was joined by CONDEMNATION up the inside at the half-mile pole, dueled that rival through the turn, then weakened in upper stretch. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE ACTION AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH. INVOLVING #7 AINT NO BARTENDER. AFTER A BRIEF REVIEW, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.

COUNTRYCLUB COUPLE bumped with LUNA LLENA at the start, then pressed the pace just behind the leading pair without path, was still blocked through the turn, then split horses in upper stretch and finished well under strong handling and urging to get the lead past the furlong pole, and went clear in the final yards. HERE KITTY KITTY raced far back in the early stages, then rallied wide through the turn and sustained the run through the stretch to gain the place. SICILIAN STYLE TWO was coaxed along after the start to get into the early pace mix, was not fast enough, and raced inside chasing the main pack through the turn, slipped through an opening along the rail into the stretch, and finished up well but was not quite good enough. DAME MAUDE CHARDIN got off to an awkward start, then moved up to press the pace four-wide down the backstretch, continued to advance through the turn to bid three-wide for the lead at the top of the stretch, weakened a bit late, and was outfinished for a minor award. GEEGEE'S STORY was up on the pace initially, then dropped back to atracking position, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, encountered some traffic in upper stretch, but lacked a winning kick and finished evenly. LUNA LLENA bumped with COUNTRYCLUB COUPLE at the start, hustled up after the start, dueled inside of GREY MARKET to the stretch, then tired. GREY MARKET broke on top, dueld with LUNA LLENA to the stretch, then stopped. RED WREN was outrun from the start and always behind.

GRAY TORMENTOR settled in good position early, tracked the pace while saving ground close up, launched a bid fro the three-furlong pole, swept to the lead at the top of the stretrch and sprinted clear in the final yards. BLAZING TONY settled near the rear of the field early, then started to run on heading into the far turn, navigated a clear path through horses to the stretch, continued a grinding finish in the late stages, and got rewarded with the second prize. VECCHI was close up early, took over the lead as the field exited the first turn, dueled inside of DEW IT WITH CLASS through the turn, weakened a bit before the stretch, but kept on well enough to save third. DEW IT WITH CLASS off a step slow, then moved up into the early pace mix, dueled with VECCHI into the turn, gained a narrow advantage near the quarter pole, then had to deal with a challenge from GRAY TORMENTOR at the top of the stretch, had no answer to that rival and weakened in the late stages. ATLAS FALLS settled back, made a nice middle move on the turn, but could not sustain and faltered in the stretch. SMOOCHER was the trailer to the stretch, then managed to pass a few tired rivals. SEEKING FREEDOM led the way to the backstretch, then was done before reaching the half-mile pole. JAC'S EMPIRE settled near the back early, made a mild middle move, then faltered in the stretch. LEROYISALAGNIAPPE raced close up around the clubhouse turn, then pulled to the front, briefly led, then ceded the lead to a pair of rivals and steadily retreated through the ar turn and came up empty in the stretch.

THUNDERIAN was allowed to settle early, then moved up approaching the half to join the pace three-wide, poked a head in front at the top of the stretch while being confidently handled, engaged in a spirted battle with a pair of foes to the inside, then pulled clear in the final yards and hit the wire just ahead of a fast closing rival on the outside. RAMSEY chased the main pack early with only one horse behind, swung out five-wide for the stretch run, and produced a steady rally to get up for second. TRIGGER POINT hustled up to take the early lead, then was overtaken by a pair of rivals near the half, fought back, and remained a factor into the stretch, finished well despite being in tight quarters late, but came up short in a solid effort. DON'T STOP broke well but ceded the lead to race close up in a stalking position, launched a bid leaving the three-furlong pole, came five-wide into the stretch, and finished well but could not quite get there in the final yards. EXCITEMENT broke well, pressed the pace three-wide, hooked in with THUNDERIAN from the half-mile pole, was in-tight between horses in a spirited stretch battle then weakened inside the sixteenth pole.
