EXPRESSIVE LOVE vied three deep into the first turn, cleared inner pair and crossed over, opened up on the far turn, remained well clear into the final furlong, grew weary late but was able to hold. PERFECT LIFE vied from inside for a bit then dropped back to track the speed around the first turn, angled out on the second bend, drifted out and bumped MRAZEK'S OLD DREAM at the eighth pole, put in a late bid but ran out of ground. MRAZEK'S OLD DREAM traveled outside a rival at the back early, angled four wide around the far turn, took a bump from PERFECT LIFE at the eighth pole and showed late interest to close the gap on the winner. MORGAN'S BLUFF settled in the two path, followed in range three deep into the far turn, was closest in pursuit in the two path turning for home but finished evenly down the lane. FAITHFUL TRUTH laid well off the pace in the early going while angling off the fence to the four path around the first turn, stayed off the rail through the second bend, came four wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. BRANDON'S GIRL vied between rivals into the first turn then ceded command to EXPRESSIVE LOVE, stalked two wide into the far turn, moved inside then chased a bit off the rail again into the lane and faded out of contention. LADY LITHESOME bumped leaving the gate, was rank and checked behind a rival into the first turn, fought the rider some more around the bend, trailed on the inside and was never a factor. ONLY REPUTATION tracked three then two wide early, continued two into the far turn, weakened under urging around that bend and tired down the lane.

EXPLORA was content to trail the field to the turn, started to move in the four path around the bend and brushed with REVERA at the quarter pole, challenged the top pair entering the lane, drew clear at the eighth pole, drifted in a bit midstretch while beginning to draw away and was in hand approaching the wire. LA WALLY fought head to head outside HIMIKA up the backstretch, kept the pressure on that rival around the bend, fought between runners in upper stretch, could not kick on with EXPLORA entering the final furlong and kept on to best the rest. REVERA stalked the top pair from off the rail, brushed with EXPLORA chasing in the three path at the quarter pole, followed within range to the eighth pole, then flattened out while outfinishing HIMIKA for the show honors. CALI CAT rated in the two path, bid three deep on the far turn, dueled outside SIR PERCIVAL to the sixteenth and edged clear late. SIR PERCIVAL pressed the pace from outside, dueled around the far turn, inched ahead into the stretch, put away inner rival but was confronted by CALI CAT, battled with that rival to the sixteenth pole and yielded late. DRUIDIC stalked the pace from inside, came under a ride on the second bend, chased two wide into the stretch and gained third. CULLEN J grabbed the lead from inside, showed the way under pressure from SIR PERCIVAL, fought head to head around the far turn, yielded to that rival at the three-sixteenths pole and managed to stay on for a minor placing. PRINCE DOLCE fractious in the gate, unhurried in the early going and angled to the inside, saved ground through the far turn as well, had one beat approaching the stretch, tipped off the fence and rallied belatedly. AFTERNOON NAP pulled three wide early, raced out of range two wide into the far turn, found the rail around that bend and lacked further response. FRANK BULLITT settled four then three wide on the first turn, navigated the far turn in the two path and could not rally when called upon. KING OF DRAGONS threw his head leaving the gate, trailed two wide into the first turn, pulled into the backstretch, tugged the rider forward in the middle stages, went three deep around the far turn and weakened. REFOCUS sat off the pace in the two path, ridden along the rail on the far turn, tipped two wide into the lane and could not make an impact. PASS THE BATON was a bit keen along the inside on the first turn, asked around the second bend and was never a factor. ONE SMOKIN DUDE pulled between rivals early, traveled outside a rival at the back in the middle stages, came three wide into the lane and was never a factor.
