BASILICA LIGHT was sent to the lead to set the pace two wide entering the first turn while clear and then moved to the inside while clear to the far turn, then was engaged by LLIANA nearing the quarter pole, dug in determinedly leaving the three sixteenths but gave way grudgingly in the final sixteenth. THIRD KISS tracked the pace along the inside and drafted behind the leaders on the far turn but was boxed by the quarter pole, looked inside leaving the turn and then outside but was still boxed nearing the furlong marker and then had no late kick when had room. LILYS BACK was rated along early and two wide, then was between rivals on the far turn, came three wide off the bend but weakened in the lane. PRETTY GEISHA chased the pace three wide and tired the final quarter of a mile.
