CRAZY BUSY (JPN) assumed command just off the rail onto the first turn, maintained a slim lead inside setting a dawdling pace down the backstretch, opened up when nudged along disposing of the early pace foe by the quarter marker, had no answer when the winner stormed by outside switching back over to the incorrect lead when getting passed, tried to counter in deep stretch but could only finish up an easy second best on this day. STREET SAVANT had a good spot tucked in on the rail watching the engaged pair, was urged on for more at the three eighths pole but showing little response when regressing through the last bend, shifted to the three-path finding more and closed in belatedly inside foes in the last furlong to get the nod inside at the wire for the show award. MARIETTA BABE pressed the pace three wide on the first of two turns, ran alongside the frontrunner forcing the issue still outside down the back straight, chased in vain unable to go on with the leader by the five sixteenths pole, angled out four wide in the mix for a small share in upper stretch, was no match for the front duo who had it to themselves in the final furlong but lost the battle for the third place share at the finish line outside. BOBBAAY was away slowly trailing the group in the early going, moved outside to be a joint last down the backside, had little to offer going two wide throughout the far turn, shifted to the three-path trying to make a run but finished up greenly never switching leads while laying in outside of a couple of runners in the late drive while battling for the show award. GOLD DRAGON settled near the rear travelling on the fence, co-trailed inside another with the field paired up along the backside, saved ground around the far turn but was in last at the five sixteenths pole, made a brief spurt hugging the rail turning for home to get into contention for a piece of the prize in by mid-stretch but lacked a finishing kick inside of rivals in the late running. PROUD PAINTER co-trailed between foes in the early stages, made a big swooping move circling the field five wide on the turn at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the six path in the thick of things in upper stretch, charged home smartly in the final furlong but could not get to the winner who had something left in reserve but did run on solidly to get up outside at the shadow of the wire for the runners up position. TORONTO CITY shared the rear outside a couple of rivals in the backstretch running, closed in four wide making a bid up top between horses at the quarter marker, continued to stubbornly duel with rivals on both sides for the front at the head of the lane but could not find more late and faded in the last sixteenth getting nabbed outside at the wire for the place share. PADDY HOLIDAY had the rail position being part of the back threesome, was hard held on the fence waiting for running room to be a joint last ins, skimmed the fence advancing inside at the top of the stretch to be in with a chance for a small share but could only finish up one paced down the lane to settle on the fringes in the end. HE'S A PIPER travelled three deep outside two others keeping a close eye on the pacesetter, made a brief move getting a head in front for a fleeting moment three wide in midturn, could not keep up to rival still in the three path when turning for home and wilted between runners by the eighth pole. FORESTERS LASTLOVE settled between horses forwardly place watching the loose leader down the backstraight, dropped back at the half, co-trailed outside midway on the turn with the field bunching up, shifted to the four path for the stretch run but failed to menace in the late running. AU CONTRAIRE had a clear lead just off the rail when entering the backstretch, had the two path just holding onto the lead with a host of runners bearing down at the five sixteenths, offered no resistance being swarmed on both sides dropping out of it by the quarter pole and stopped in upper stretch cantering in through the stretch crossing the finish line. SPA PROSPECTOR had the rail tucked in sitting in midfield, was roused through the bend keeping pace taking the shortest way around the turn, moved out to the two path at the head of the lane and finished up willingly inside others to be a non-threatening third at the wire. SUPER SICILY kept a close eye of the lead pair while outside in the three path, was driven on three wide in midturn but the lead duo were starting to slip further away by the quarter pole, remained in the three path straightening out for the drive and finished up mildly for a minor placing in the end. FORESTERS EXEC was situated near the rear having the two path with rivals on each side, ran on evenly going two wide around the oval, angled out four wide off of horses losing some momentum briefly in upper stretch but when clear in the final furlong failed to fire. BREEZERO travelled four deep close to the back end, could not get anything going spinning his wheels three wide around the turn outside rivals, swung out widest to the five path turning for home but lacked a rally through the lane. WOOTEN WARRIOR (IRE) was in tight having the three path between horses having to be checked coming up to the seven sixteenths pole, lagged well behind around the turn, moved out to the two path for the stretch run but could not recover enough to get involved in the late going. RAPID TEST raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn, angled out in upper stretch, rallied mildly outside and got up for third at the wire. DADDY'S SECRET was situated three deep in midfield, came under a busy ride being vigorously scrubbed on three wide at the three eighths pole making little gain on the frontrunner, angled to the four path in with a chance for a share turning for home and found another gear in the last sixteenth of a mile surging outside two others at the wire getting just up in time to best the rest for the runners up position. ONE SHOT SCOTT was quickest out of the gate loose up top down the backside, continued to be unopposed freewheeling around the turn in hand while slowing the tempo down slightly, had the two path still quite in control at the head of the lane, relinquished the lead unable to fend off the hard charging winner inside by the sixteenth pole and faded in very deep stretch getting picked up right at the wire outside for the place share. EDEY improved on the fence down the backstretch watching the top two runners with a half mile still to run, was coaxed for more at the five sixteenths pole when the leader started to pull away further, closed the gap three wide in the hunt outside two others in upper stretch, kept trying between runners to the very end but was on the losing end of a blanket three way finish for the second money. EPISODE was hard held pulling at the rider between foes in the three path in the early stages having only the eventual winner beaten, took the overland route going three to four wide around foes through the turn going in the wrong direction to be last at the quarter pole, swung out widest to the six path in upper stretch and could only manage to pass a couple of weary runners down the lane. LET'S GO SOUPER settled in the two path between horses in mid-pack, made little impression travelling two wide around the turn with runners on either side, hugged the rail straightening out for the drive but came up empty in the stretch running. SURFSIDE BEACH hounded the pacesetter outside down the back straightaway, gave futile chase two wide midway around the bend, had little left to give being quickly passed on both sides by rivals at the quarter pole and folded in the three path in upper stretch. OFFLEE NAUGHTY was off a bit slow, raced off the pace inside, moved up inside into the stretch and closed belatedly in the two path. STRATUS tracked close up on the inside, chased on the turn, bid in the stretch, then weakened. LEGAL CATCH raced two wide off the pace, chased three wide on the turn and tired. PALACE VIEW (IRE) raced three wide early, then two wide off the pace, chased on the turn and tired. EL KABONG raced two wide off the pace, chased four wide on the turn and faded. ENDRICK had a neck in front cruising along in the beginning, shook loose getting to the rail by the half, moved well up top in hand with the rider rationing out his speed through the turn, spurted away once again from his closest pursuer when let out a notch in mid-stretch but started to get leg weary in the last sixteenth of a mile and was caught by the fast closing winner outside right at the finish line. YACHT BOY settled on the inside close to the back, started to commence a run closing in three wide between foes midpoint of the bend, was floated out widest in the seven-path straightening out for the stretch drive and determinedly kept on coming to get up getting the nod outside at the wire for the show money. SHADOW REALM had runners on either side sitting in the middle of the pack leaving the gate, advanced down the backstretch to track the frontrunner by the half, chased through the turn closing in making a bid briefly outside at the quarter pole but was under a steady drive to do so, shifted to the three path for the stretch run but evened out in deep stretch getting nabbed late losing the third place share. INDY ONE tugged at the rider under a stronghold sitting in midfield, was roused for more two wide at the five sixteenths pole but offering little response, improved smartly shaving the final corner getting into contention with many rivals opting to go for the outer route at the top of the stretch but could not sustain the rally and flattened out inside horses at the sixteenth pole. CARNEW was bumped by the outside foe on the start, recovered to duel for the lead inside early into the backstretch, took back off the leader by the five eighths pole, was ridden along on the rail but could not keep up with the top pair midway through the turn and had little left to offer fading in the three path in the drive to the wire. SLAYSTER broke inwards on the start, was situated in mid-division three deep early on, improved outside of rivals by the half, made little headway going three wide around the bend, shifted to the five path for the stretch run but could not factor through the lane. EL CAPO settled near the rear on the outside, regressed going three to six wide outside rivals in the turn running, angled inwards to the five path turning for home but was empty in upper stretch and galloped on in being not persevered with the last eighth of a mile. BUIUM raced two wide off the pace, advanced on the far turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, closed mildly outside and earned the show award. IMYOURMEDICINEMAN pulled in the early stages while close up four wide, then stalked close up to the winner, pressed that rival on the backside, bid between foes on the far turn, rallied mildly between, steadied slightly behind BOND MARKET near the eighth pole and continued evenly for fourth. KATIE'S GRACE settled well off the early pace, advanced on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, bid and was outkicked. KEEPMYPOWDERDRY raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the turn and tired. SET was quickest out of the gate loose up top just off the rail in the beginning, was collared outside by the winner at the three-furlong marker, dug in tenaciously taking the shortest way around the bend, gave way up top shifting outside when the winner cleared off at the furlong pole but still stayed on winning the battle for the runners up share between horses at the finish line. LIGHT THE LAMP broke inwards on the start, had a good sport on the rail in the second flight keeping tabs on the lead duo throughout, was nudged alone measuring the front pair on the turn, shifted to the three path having aim on the top two in upper stretch and ran on willingly unable to threaten the winner in the last furlong but finishing up well enough outside to get the show award in a tight photo. DARK SCREEN had the rail while in midfield, was under a ride edging up saving all the ground on the bend by the quarter marker, skimmed the fence getting into contention inside rivals at the top of the stretch but needed more when unable to offer a finishing kick in deep stretch losing the three way duel inside for the place and show positions. MASSETO (GB) was bumped on the outside at the break, had the fence while near the rear down the backside, narrowed the gap on the bend two wide at the quarter pole, angled out off of runners five wide in mid-stretch and finished with good interest in the late going. URBAN LEGEND had runners on either side watching the front pair in the beginning, chased the contesting twosome while going two wide around the oval, moved out to the four path in upper stretch but wilted with a sixteenth of a mile still to run. FEARLESS SOLDIER was in no hurry seeing the field in the early stages, continued to lag behind a rapid pace around the oval, hugged the rail turning for home but could only manage to pass a couple of weary foes down the lane. FOXTROTANNA had the outside of another sitting in the middle of the pack, was isolated trying to close in on the front four rivals through the turn but making little progression and could not find more for the drive weakening in the final furlong. MENTEE settled on the outside close to the back, made no movement going three wide through the turn, angled to the four path but had little to give in the stretch running.
