TENNESSEEHONEYBEE took control just after the start, showed the way into the turn just off the inside, continued in the two path into the lane while relinquishing the advantage to the runner up, headed for the third spot inside the furlong marker then came back to regain that position. TURF ROCKET behind the pace along the inside, continued to track into the turn, covered up along the rail through much of the bend, large opening into the lane, clear shot to the wire, flattened late to be outfinished for the show. MIRANDA'S ROCKY last away, trailed well back along the inside, swung out turning into the stretch, set down, displayed some belated interest to better her position, too late to make a significant impact. NYQUISTADOR pressed the leader from along the inside, fell back when idling through the final turn, continued to save ground into the lane, ran on to the wire, moved out late and was up for the second spot. NEW FUND last away, devoid of any speed for seven furlongs, steered out widest when straightened for home, staged a willingly rally down the middle of the course to be in time for the third spot. BULLFIGHT off the pace while racing toward the inside, continued to save ground second turn, in some traffic late in that bend, got through along the inside, shifted out a bit nearing the furlong grounds, improved late with some belated interest in some traffic. GALLATIN drew clear past the wire the first time, angled in toward but not on the inside, showed the way up the backstretch, responded when challenged by the winner second turn, dueled through upper stretch then caved in late to lose several positions at the wire. LAST MOMENT well back for much of the way, continued to see most of his rivals while waiting turning for home, eased out a bit and improved position through traffic. ROAD TRIPPIN near the back for six furlongs, picked way through some traffic second turn, came three wide into the stretch, improved past the furlong marker then flattened out a bit late. TERRE HAUTE in mid pack off the inside, four to five wide mild advance second turn, failed to sustain that advance through the lane to finish up one paced. CANTIS forwardly placed while four wide through the first turn, continued outside and was four wide again in the far bend, came three wide for the drive and weakened the final furlong. HARD ROW in the second flight off the rail, angled in nearing midstretch, had little left late. KING LEE in the main body, four wide into the stretch, also faltered in the final furlong. ROSWELL lacked early foot along the inside, traffic, waited 9/16, moved out, came four wide out of the turn when beginning to advance, continued to rally and was up late for the second spot late while widest of the second flight, no threat to the winner. NOMOLIMBO broke well, briefly raced with the winner inside that one, tracked that one into the turn, hooked up with C'S TODAY for a long duel for the second spot, proved determined while no match for the winner. C'S TODAY bothered slightly soon after the start, raced back off the pace outside, closer three wide through the turn, could not keep pace with the winner upper stretch, extended duel for the second spot, outkicked. SUMMIT RIDGE in mid pack early toward the inside, idled in some traffic late backstretch, advanced in the two path through the turn, angled out five wide into the lane and improved his position. FLICK broke back, lacked speed while saving ground, cut the corner into the stretch, also bettered his position while not a serious threat to the top three. ALWORTH hesitated at the break, moved up quickly behind traffic backstretch, bobbled in some traffic into the turn, improved after recovering, flattened out a bit in the final furlong. FIRST OFFENSE in mid pack while racing off the inside, fell back late turn and into the lane, picked off a couple of tiring rivals late, never a threat. FINAL COUNTDOWN made little impact racing well back from three to four wide. SHAPKA behind the pace while racing outside, floated out five wide into the stretch, failed to launch a closing response.
