TIZ MARY'S COMET applied heavy pressure to the early pace, took a brief command at the bottom of the turn before being challenged by CREOLE CHROME to duel the whole way down the stretch, grudgingly gave way late for a very gamely finish. AWESOME HAWAIIAN tracked the pace four wide, weakened a bit in the upper stretch before finding best stride late to get up for the show award, no match for dueling leaders. GOLDEN MANE was rated between rivals, made improvements through foes in the stretch, just missed out on a minor award.
